Our story begins with a little girl who dreamed of horses long before she had one.

Our founder, Samantha, has always been drawn to horses . Although she did not grow up owning them she took every opportunity she could to be around them. Whether spending time at friends' barns, volunteering at local stables, or riding the occasional dude string through the mountains, she simply wanted them to be apart of her life. Trips to Arizona where her step-grandfather owned horses were especially memorable.
While attending the University of Southern California, she met her husband, who shared the same respect and appreciation for horses. After earning their bachelors degrees, they moved back to Samantha's hometown of Colorado Springs to build their family and businesses. Today their family owns and operates many local businesses including Murphy's Lawn Maintenance LLC., Stockmens Backcountry Services LLC., and Little Hooves LLC. Samantha is also a successful Colorado real estate agent specializing in luxury farm, ranch, and equestrian properties. Together they balance entrepreneurship with homeschooling their 3 children.
Little Hooves LLC. was built from that lifelong admiration of horses and wanting to share that magic with others. We provides safe, gentle, and well-cared for animals for private events such as birthdays, weddings, charity events, and community gatherings. We also offer custom pony-less craft experiences for events that want an equestrian touch without live animals. When you book with us, you're not just adding entertainment to your event. You're gifting the kind of moment Samantha once hoped for herself.
ABOUT LITTLE HOOVES

MEET THE STAR

Nitty Gritty is our 6-year-old Shetland pony gelding. When he's not helping create magical moments with Little Hooves, he enjoys the simple life - sunbathing, eating timothy grass, and hanging out with his horse friends Bo and Amos. Nitty Gritty isn't just a party pony, he is apart of our family.
Our herd is growing — with additional ponies and burros joining us soon
